Such fun to share with you all. What a beautiful photo essay! Your remark about the bitter passengers reminded me of a fable told by Plutarch about a wine merchant who would taste the new wines and save the vinegary ones for himself. One day a friend called and enquired of the servant, "Where is your master?" The servant replied, "He is out looking for the Bad while surrounded by Good." Namaste.
The mention of Amarula brought back a memory! When we did the Panama Canal cruise they sold it in the gift shop and I bought a bottle to bring back for Margaret Malherbe, who is from South Africa. When we got back to Sandy and I was unpacking, I discovered it had exploded in the suitcase. What a mess! Much better to drink than wear!
